Cindy Lever Mother journalist inspirator Cindy has been a journalist for over 20 years both in Australia and the United Kingdom. She has a degree in journalism, philosophy and law. Her passion for sharing people’s stories is evident in her writing and her ability to accurately reflect their lives and events has been described as a gift. She loves to tackle tough, gritty issues that others shy away from and brings them to the forefront of people’s attention. She has covered topics such as freebirth, lotus birth, elimination communication, the lack of training in breech births among Australian doctors, domestic violence during pregnancy and men suffering PTSD after being at births.
Cindy has written for publications such as Marie Claire, Sunday Life magazine, Stellar Magazine, Good Health, Kidspot, Mamamia, the Daily Mail, U on Sunday and Essential Baby. Her stories have gone viral around the world and are picked up by media outlets around the world and led to appearances on The Morning Show, Brisbane radio and Irish national radio. Writing is her passion and her aim is to inform, inspire and empower women, particularly in the areas of childbirth and motherhood and life as a woman. Having been fortunate to have a second child at the age of 44 she relishes the role of motherhood and all its joys and struggles. She has lived and travelled around the world and is now settled on an organic farm in the Gold Coast Hinterland with her menagerie.
